My second day in New York was quite mellow, which realistically was just what I needed. After an uber ride to Soho for breakfast and a few meetings, the rest of my day was open for shopping at Acne Studios, photos and a little solo time at MoMA in the afternoon. There is something so inspiring to me about visiting a museum by yourself. I'm not sure what it is, but I have mutual feelings about bookstores and coffee shops; 'museum visits' is an act I really need to add to my list more often. With twenty minutes until closing, I sat outside in the garden located just beyond the glass backdoors and took in the visuals around me. Other than feeling completely refreshed after my MoMA visit, the rest of my day was just as satisfying. I bought myself a beloved gift from Acne earlier in the day, and viewed the latest collection (which had me practically drooling.) Plus, what's better than that pink box? Overall, day two of my trip was one I didn't know I needed until I was standing in front of the art I love so much.
