A Studio Visit with Kristen Elspeth

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of meeting the woman behind the namesake jewelry line, Kristen Elspeth. Kristen does not only have the most perfectly curated collection, but her studio is just as dreamy. I was in awe of the openness of her space and her elegant designs, both distinctively unique and inspiring. After sitting down and talking for hours about Paris' hidden gems, music, art and life in general, I admired and tried on my favorite pieces from her collection. Needless to say, I fell in love with each piece I tried on not only for its beauty, but because of its versatility and ability to be worn with everything. As a minimal designer it becomes tough to create pieces that stand out, yet Kristen has no problem with that creative difficulty. The difference lies in the shape of the jewelry. Every curve in the earrings hug your ear to the perfect degree, along with the rest of her collection which all seems to play off each other. Inspired by the beauty of human form, the jewelry created is meant to compliment the woman wearing it. I am so excited to own my favorites from her collection and incorporate them into my closet. Timeless and intricate, these golden babies will be with me forever.
