Last Thursday, I headed out to Palm Springs for Coachella. After a crazy week, I packed my bags and drove East. With enough clothes to last me weeks, I arrived at the Airbnb of my dreams. I’ve always had an appreciation for midcentry design, and this place exceeded all and every expectation. A few summers back, I stumbled across The Amado and met the owner. After talking with Jaime, you could easily tell how much influence her own style has on the place— she’s the coolest!  Separated into five fully living spaces, The Amado can host up to twelve people. As soon as I fell onto the king size bed, I knew I was going to settle in just fine.

Liebeskind so graciously hosted me, along with four other bloggers who also happened to be my good friends! What luck! The whole weekend was filled with amazing music, delicious food, and a whole lot of relaxing in the desert sun. My sister spontaneously drove down from Central California and met me for the weekend, which made my time in Palm Springs that much better! My sister and I always have the best adventures together and this trip was another addition to that list.  We made sure to find some cool places to eat and a coffee spot which we went back to numerous times. Overall the weekend was the perfect getaway which has me really excited for a sun kissed summer.

Here are a few of my favorite go-to's next time you are in Palm Springs:

Moorten Botanical Garden
Home of the classic Palm Springs greenhouse Instagram shot, this Botanical Garden is really unique. Not to mention every time I return home, my backseat is accompanied by a new succulent.

Ace Hotel:
The hotel everyone talks about. Walk around the exterior, Grab lunch at King's Highway, take a photo in the photobooth!

Miros:
The best modern European food. Go at sunset and sit outside with a glass of wine and good company.

Las Casuelas Terreza:
Good Mexican food, good margaritas.

Workshop Kitchen & Bar:
My sister and I went for brunch and split something sweet & savory. We agreed over the frittata and waffle. Perfect combination, FYI.

Ernest Coffee:
The almond milk iced latte was so delicious, I could of consumed multiple servings in a sitting.

Now that Palm Springs is in the rearview mirror, I leave today to head up to Carmel & Big Sur for my next adventure. Follow along on my snapchat and Instagram as I share my trip with you.
Au Revoir!
