Q & A with Taylr Anne
@taylranne
We know you’re an avid photographer, what do you shoot with? Film or Digital?
I’ve shot digital since the beginning, but I always make sure to bring my polaroid camera with me. Although I prefer the instant satisfaction of shooting digital, there is nothing quite like a film capture. The beauty and anticipation of seeing that final image is thrilling, and the feel of the photo is unexplainable.
Walk us through a typical day in the life of @Taylranne…
I usually try to wake up around 6:30AM, and before making coffee, I drink two huge glasses of water. Then I answer emails, drink my coffee and enjoy the morning. Sometimes I multitask and watch the news while I make breakfast, and if I wake up early enough, I like to sit on my couch and read. I absolutely love to read. If you come to my studio, you will see books everywhere. Anyways, my days are usually always different after 9AM. Sometimes I will have a photoshoot or have to head to LA for meetings or events, but if not I usually work from my studio the majority of the day— working on upcoming blog posts, editing photos, replying to emails, and having meetings. At night, I usually cook dinner from home, have a glass of red wine, and unwind a little before heading to the gym. I try to be in bed by 10pm, but that doesn’t always work so well, haha!
What is something most people wouldn't know about you?
I am really good at limbo, and can recite an uncomfortable amount of rap songs.
What is your go to daily uniform?
Sweater, high waisted jeans, and some type of bootie heel even though I don’t need the extra inches.
What is your favorite way to pair a hat?
Fitted turtleneck tops and 4 inch boots.
Who is your ultimate style icon/muse?
Alexa Chung can do no wrong, but I think just seeing street style constantly is super inspiring. Shoutout to Pinterest, and my Street Style board.
What is your cocktail of choice?
I’m more of a red wine type of girl, but if you hand me a Moscow Mule, I’m not going to say no.
