Coachella: The Ultimate Packing Guide For The Girl Who Isn't 'Coachella'

Well, the time has come! It is officially Festival Season. It is time to pack our bags and groove all night to the best music in the business.. Although, what does a fashion girl wear? If you think flower crowns and spray tans are in my horizon, think again. Here's what I'll be packing in my bags, with not a flower crown in sight.

What do I really want to wear to a music Festival?
Here are my five must-haves for the perfect festival fashion.

With the sun shining down all day, what is more perfect than a hat to take cover. A few of my favorite brands? Janessa Leone, Clyde, Kink Hats, & Brixton.

I think it's safe to say I am only going to pack white for this Coachella festival. Linen tops, lightweight dresses and accessorize with pretty silk scarves. A few of my favorite brands? Doen, Cleobella, and vintage finds via General Store.

For a minimal suitcase attire, packing an equally neutral polish collection that fits the part is essential. Two of my favorite shades: Substantially Tan & Staying Neutral by OPI. For a little fun, I am also packing Hold Out For More by OPI & a classic red– Thrill of Brazil, also by OPI.

The only shorts I am bringing to Coachella are Levi's. They go with everything and are classically effortless. I find all of my cut off's secondhand; the hunt is worth it! They last forever and there is nothing like a vintage fit!

After long days ahead in the sun, I can't think of going without sunscreen. My favorite (and nontoxic!) sunscreen is by Elta MD. The sun is so draining, so it's important to protect your skin. Another thing that will be draining is your iPhone, so be sure to pack a Mophie case or external battery. I love my Mophie case, it helps add some extra punch to my battery life while I'm out long days away from a charger.

And like that (with a few more things..) I will be on my way to the desert this weekend. Packing light and ready for a little getaway, the only thing more I wish I could bring is my dog... Can't wait to share the weekend with you! Until then.
