Why You Need To Visit Moon Juice In Los Angeles

Over the past few years, I have been really interested in healthy living and doing things to make me feel my optimal best. There were so many things I wasn't doing, not because I didn't want to, but because I just didn't know any better. My parents were very health conscious with us growing up, but there is so much valuable information accessible now for me to make my own decisions about my health as an adult. I went from being an athlete who trained 3-4 hours a day to self-motivating workouts and trying to find balance. While it's true that my body doesn't hurt like it used to with all of the excessive training, this transition has forced me to look at health as a lifestyle. Looking back, if I knew half of the information I do now I wonder if it would have effected me any differently. I wonder if I had properly nourished my body, would I have performed better or had more energy? While I can only look forward now, there are things I have included in my daily routine that makes me feel better than ever. I have a huge passion for wellness and trusting plants, first and foremost, to heal our bodies.

While I was in LA over the weekend, I stopped by one of my favorites, Moon Juice, for a superfood/superherb packed smoothie and to pick up a few things for my own pantry. If you are new to the whole scene but are interested in ways to make yourself feel good, Moon Juice is a great place to start. While eating healthy, nutritious food is most important, making sure your body is alkalized and rich in enzymes, good bacteria, and amino acids is vital for overall health and low risk of disease. There is so much information to share, but I want this to inspire you to look at your own health and see where you strive to feel better.

While at Moon Juice, I picked up Pearl, which is a beautifying antioxidant and potent source of enzymes, minerals and amino acids. It is great for skin, white eyes, cell building, longevity, and overall glow. I also picked up more Probiotics, which nurture intestinal microflora, heal the gut, clean the liver, and recolonize intestines with organisms that defend against disease, viruses, and yeast. (I am huge on probiotics! I think everyone should take them, especially women). I also always have my pantry stocked with fresh Almond ButterBee Pollen, Maca, Cacao Nibs, Cacao Powder, Cayenne, Pink Salt, and I keep the Moon Juice cookbook at hand for information and good recipes. Long list short, my pantry is filled with nutritious jars of herbs and superfoods I totally back. While I have so much more to learn, knowing I am making conscious decisions to better my health gives me mental clarity; when I feel good, it translates to other important aspects of my life.
