Cult Denim Project

Yesterday I visited M.i.h for their AW16 Press Preview and left so inspired. In mark of their ten year anniversary, M.i.h Jeans rereleased a limited run of ten cult pieces from their denim archive. Inspired by functional artists' overalls, I'm wearing their Painter's Parka (which was originally released in SS14) over a crochet turtleneck dress by Jamé. It's rare I wear short dresses, but this one is a definite exception– the intricate straight lines of the crochet detailing gives this dress a very Chloé SS14 inspired look, which I am in favor for. I know I will find many ways to wear this dress. I also have paired my look with a soft alpaca cardigan from ZADY. If you don't know about ZADY yet, you should read their mission about the clothing they produce.

There are a lot of beautiful and inspiring pieces from M.i.h's Cult Denim collection that I want to add to my closet. When a designer's vision is so well curated, it is cool to see how timeless the pieces they create really are. Either the design comes back or it never went out of style.  If there is a brand that I feel really connected to and aesthetically in line with, it is M.i.h. hands down. We are going to be doing some fun projects together and I can't wait to share with you more to come. xx
