THE GRAY GIRLS

Check out The Gray Girls + see all of their creative, cool vibes in one place.  I came across this beautiful Aussie brand a few months ago and I can't get over their simple, yet bohemian aesthetic. It is so unique, and their company is definitely one I follow closely. The babe sisters behind the brand (Tess & Sharee) recent asked me to do an interview about my personal style and creative routine.. and it's now up on their blog! I love everything they are doing and their upcoming plans. They continually inspire me all the way across the globe.

WHO ARE THE GRAY GIRLS?

The Gray Girls (noun): an eclectic vintage and recycled clothing label; the brainchild of the Gray sisters; a wardrobe for the barefooted; a means to travel, buy and blog about vintage finds; an excuse for sisters to do something collaborative together. 

There is something distinctly dreamy, whimsical even, about strolling barefooted and fancy-free. Shoes are practical and shoes can be seamlessly styled in outfit ensembles. However, The Gray Girls gather clothes so beautifully-made and handpicked that their followers needn’t wear any at all should it suffice.

It all started in early 2013 when Gray Girl, fashion designer and stylist Sharee, made the leap from quiet, coastal Mollymook to hustling, bustling Sydney. Jobless and completely broke, Sharee was forced to raid her own collection of vintage loves and grudgingly sell them via Instagram to pay her rent. The clothes sold like hotcakes.

As demand for her vintage items grew, Sharee saw an opportunity to do what she loves - buy clothes and share her finds with others. A common conversation between Gray Girl Sharee ( Fashion designer + stylist ) and sister Tess ( Graphic designer ) was how the two could collaborate their skills and create something great! It appeared the opportunity was laying upon a platter - et voila - The Gray Girls was born.

Sharee and Tess were brought up op-shopping way before it was cool. They are excited to share their vintage + recycled clothing secrets, show you how to style vintage finds with new labels, share their travel adventures and inspire you weekly with collabs, clothes & beautiful photography.
